DAY 1 - Arrival Bodhgaya
- Arrive at Bodhgaya International Airport.
- Our representative will meet and greet you at the airport.
- Transfer to your pre-booked hotel.
- Rest of the day free to relax.
- Stay overnight at Bodhgaya.
DAY 2 - Bodhgaya
- After breakfast we take you for sightseeing tour of Bodhgaya.
- Bodhgaya is one of the four most important sites related to Lord Buddha's life.
- Lord Buddha meditated under a Bodhi Tree for 3 days and 3 nights after which he attained enlightenment.
- We visit Mahabodhi Temple complex with diamond throne and the holy bodhi tree.
- We also visit many Buddhist monasteries & temples built by various countries around Mahabodhi temple.
- Overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
DAY 3 - Bodhgaya - Rajgir Nalanda – Bodhgaya
- After breakfast we take you for a full day excursion tour of Nalanda and Rajgir.
- Located 88 Kms from Patna, Nalanda was world’s first residential University.
- From Nalanda we drive on to Rajgir.
- Rajgir was the ancient capital of the Magadh Kings. Its known to be one of the favorite places of Buddha and he often visited Rajgir.
- Visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa.
- Rajgir is also an important place of pilgrimage for Hindus as the temple complex here is dedicated to the Sun God.
- In the evening return back to Bodhgaya.
- Stay overnight at Bodhgaya.
DAY 4 - Bodhgaya – Varanasi
- After breakfast we drive to Varanasi.
- On arrival check-in at the Hotel.
- In the afternoon we take you for a visit to Sarnath.
- Sarnath is a deer park located 13 Kms from Varanasi. Its here Gautam Buddha first taught Dharma.
- We will visit Dhamek Stupa, Dharmarajika Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka Pillar and Sarnath Archaeological museum.
- Return back to Varanasi in the evening.
- In the evening visit Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the prayer ceremony on the banks of Holy Ganges.
- Overnight stay at your hotel in Varanasi
DAY 5 - Varanasi – Kushinagar
- After breakfast drive to Kushinagar (235 Kms - 5 Hrs).
- Arrive Kushinagar and check-in at Hotel.
- Stay overnight at Kushinagar
DAY 6 - Kushinagar- Lumbini
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast visit Mahaparinirvana Temple and Ramabhar Stupa - the cremation site of Lord Buddha.
- Later drive to Lumbini (160 Kms, 4Hrs) - The birth place of Lord Buddha located in Nepal.
- Arrive in Lumbini. Check-in.
- Overnight stay at hotel in Lumbini.
DAY 7 - Lumbini - Sravasti
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- After breakfast we take you for a tour of Lumbini.
- Visit Mayadevi Temple, Ashokan Pillar, Holy Pushkarni Pond and ancient monasteries.
- In the afternoon we drive to Sravasti (225 Kms, 6Hrs).
- Arrive Sravasti and check in at Hotel.
- Stay overnight at hotel in Sravasti.
DAY 8 - Sravasti – Lucknow
- After breakfast we take you for sightseeing tour of Sravasti - the capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala.
- Visit Sahet Mahet, Jetvana Vihar, Angulimala's stupa, Anathapindika's stupa and an old temple dedicated to a Jain Tirthankara.
- Also visit various Buddhist monasteries built by Thailand, South Korea, China, Tibet, Srilanka and Myanmar.
- In the afternoon drive to Lucknow (170 Kms, 4 Hrs).
- In the evening on arrival in Lucknow we drop you at the Railway Station to board overnight train to Delhi.
DAY 8 – Lucknow – Delhi
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Arrive New Delhi railway station/ Airport.
- Our representative will meet and greet you.
- Transfer to the Hotel.
- Rest of the day free to relax.
- Stay overnight in Delhi.
DAY 10 – Delhi City Tour - Evening departure
- After breakfast we take you for city tour of Delhi.
- Visit Qutub Minar, India Gate, Humayuns Tomb, Jama Masjid, The President's House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Laxmi Narayan temple and Lotus temple.
- In the evening transfer to Delhi international airport for your flight to onward destination.
