This tour from Chennai takes the pilgrims to the 5 temples that signify the 5 elements of this universe. Srikalahasti Temple (Vayu Sthalam - Air), Arunachaleswarar or Annamalaiyar Temple in Thiruvannamalai (Agni Sthalam - Fire), Jambukeswarar Temple in Thiruvanaikaval (Appu sthalam - Water), Ekambareswarar Temple in Kanchipuram (Prithvi sthalam - Earth) and Thillai Natarajah Temple in Chidambaram (Akasa sthalam - Space).

You need to arrive by the morning train or flight to Chennai and departure on the last day should be by afternoon or evening flight. In case you are arriving by late afternoon flight then you should take the Panchabhoota Stalams Tour with Chennai.

  • Srikalahasti Temple

    DAY 2 - Arrive Chennai – Srikalahasti – Tirupati

    • Breajfast at the hotel.
    • After breakfast drive to Srikalahasti. It is 116 Kms drive and takes 2.5 hours.
    • On arrival visit Srikalahasti Temple (Vayu Sthalam – signifies Air) which is one of the most important Shiva Temples in South India. The town is also known as Dakshina Kaashi (Kaashi of the South)
    • After Darshan we drive on to Tirupati.
    • Srikalahasti to Tirupati is 38 Kms and 45 minutes drive.
    • On arrival check in to hotel.
    • Overnight at hotel.
  • Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala

    DAY 3 - Tirupati – Thiruvannamalai

    • Early breakfast the hotel.
    • Leave for darshan of Hill Temple at Tirumala.
    • The Hill Temple of Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala is perhaps the most visited temple in India. The Srivari Temple dates back to 12th century BC. Lord Venkateshwara is also popularly known as Lord of Seven Hills.
    • In the late afternoon we drive to Thiruvannamalai.
    • Turipati to Thiruvannamalai is 188 Kms and 3.5 hours drive.
    • Late evening arrive in Thiruvannamalai.
    • On arrival check in to hotel.
    • Overnight at hotel.
  • Annamalaiyar Temple

    DAY 4 - Thiruvannamalai to Trichurapalli

    • Breakfast the hotel.
    • After breakfast visit Arunachaleswarar or Annamalaiyar Temple (Agni Sthalam – signifies Fire) is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located at the base of Annamalai hills.
    • Later visit the Ramana Maharishi Ashram & Ashram of Yogi Ram Surat Kumar
    • On every Full moon day of the month, pilgrims can do the Parikrama of the Hill – Girivalam by foot, totaling 14 Kms. It is undertaken in the night. There are 8 lingams, 360 holy tanks, mandapas and ashrams.
    • In the afternoon drive to Trichurapalli.
    • Thiruvannamalai to Trichurapalli is 186 Kms and 3.5 hours drive
    • In the evening arrive in Thiruvannamalai.
    • On arrival check in to hotel.
    • Overnight at hotel.
  • Azhagiya Manavala Perumal Temple

    DAY 5 - Trichurapalli to Chidambaram

    • Breakfast the hotel.
    • After breakfast visit Jambukeswarar Temple in Thiruvanaikaval (Appu sthalam – signifies Water)
    • Later we visit the Azhagiya Manavala Perumal Temple (one of the 108 Divya Desam Temples) Thirukkozhi.
    • In the afternoon we drive to Chidambaram.
    • Trichurapalli to Chidambaram is 148 Kms and 3 hours drive.
    • In the evening arrive in Chidambaram.
    • On arrival check in to hotel.
    • Overnight at hotel.
  • Akasa sthalam

    DAY 6 - Chidambaram to Kanchipuram

    • Breakfast the hotel.
    • After breakfast check out.
    • We visit Thillai Natarajah Temple or Chidambaram temple (Akasa sthalam – signifies Space) dedicated to Lord Shiva.
    • Then we drive on to Kanchipuram.
    • Chidambaram to Kanchipuram is 190 Kms drive and takes 3.5 hours.
    • On arrival in Kanchipuram check in to hotel.
    • Overnight at hotel.
  • Parthasarathy temple

    DAY 7 - Kanchipuram to Chennai

    • Breakfast the hotel.
    • After breakfast check out.
    • Visit Ekambareswarar Temple (Prithvi sthalam – signifies Earth) dedicated to Shiva.
    • After darshan we drive on to Chennai.
    • Chennai is 70 kms from Kanchipuram and takes 1.5 hours to reach Chennai.
    • Time permitting, in Chennai we visit the Parthasarathy temple (one of the 108 Divya Desam Temples) and the Kapaleshwarar Temple.
    • Later in the evening transfer to the train station or airport for your train / flight to onward destination.
